Samantha is originally from Ocean Township, New Jersey, and is excited about joining the team at WBAY!
She was previously at our Gray station WTAP in Parkersburg, West Virginia, for two years. While there, she anchored the weekend 6 & 11 shows and reported Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
In May 2021, Samantha became the 5 & 10 weeknight anchor for WTAP where she held the position until February 2023.
She is a May 2020 graduate from the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College with a degree in journalism and a minor in Sport Studies.
During her time in college, Samantha worked for the school's award-winning student-run newspaper, "The Ithacan," from 2016 to 2017. She wrote articles for the sports section before being promoted to Assistant Sports Editor in March of 2017. She also hosted "The Ithacan"'s sports podcast "How IC Sports" from August to December 2017. In 2018, the New York Press Association named Samantha and her Sports Editor with the "Best Sports Coverage" award for a college newspaper for 2017.
In March of 2018, Samantha covered the ECAC Division 1 men's hockey championship in Lake Placid, New York, covering Cornell University.
In the summer of 2018, Samantha interned for the independent minor league baseball team, the New Jersey Jackals, out of Little Falls, New Jersey.
In the fall of 2019, during her semester in Los Angeles, Samantha interned with Fox Sports Radio, where she worked directly with the show "The Odd Couple" with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker.
In her spare time, Samantha loves to watch TV, play video games, travel, and watch sporting events, but primarily New York Yankees and New York Jets games. She is also a big fan of Disney!
