FRIDAY LOOKS WIND-CHILLY... SUNDAY LOOKS SNOWY!
Your First Alert Weather Forecast:
Grab your coat! It’s much colder outside than it was yesterday. Temperatures will be stuck in the teens, with wind chills on either side of zero. A blustery northwest wind ahead of high pressure is delivering this shot of cold air. As this stable weathermaker arrives tonight, that pesky wind will finally settle down.
You’ll notice some clouds today. Some lake-effect flurries are possible too. In general, you’ll see more sunshine mixed in for areas SOUTHWEST of Green Bay. But even areas farther northeast will have a decrease of clouds through the afternoon.
We’re still tracking a round of snow pushing through the area late Saturday night through midday Sunday. The snow should be wrapping up towards the kickoff of the Packers-Buccaneers playoff game. At this time, it looks like we’ll get 2-4″ of snow across the area, so expect some slippery travel as fans travel to Lambeau Field on Sunday... Keep informed, as details on this weathermaker may change between now and the arrival of the snow. Sunday is now a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY.
