The wind will be whipped up again today. Except, instead of a blustery northwest wind, we’ll have a strong south breeze. That wind will draw warmer air northward into Wisconsin. While high temperatures will bounce back into the 40s this afternoon, wind chills will be in the 30s. South wind gusts may climb as high as 35 mph along the LAKESHORE this afternoon, causing minor flooding issues and some beach erosion.

Sunshine will be mixed with mainly high, thin clouds. Skies will be partly cloudy over the next couple days, but the forecast looks dry.

Our rain chances this weekend seem to be drying up too... We’ve made changes to the Saturday and Sunday forecast, as the weekend storm passing through the region seems to be tracking farther south than previously thought. This is probably good news for deer hunters Saturday morning... While there won’t be any tracking snow, a gentle breeze on Saturday shouldn’t blow around a hunter’s scent from a tree stand too much.
