CHILLY TODAY WITH A BRISK WIND
Your First Alert Weather Forecast:
Despite the sun this afternoon, it’s going to remain a chilly day with highs generally in the lower and middle 30s. That northwest breeze isn’t helping matters either. While it’s not overly strong, it will keep wind chills in the 20s this afternoon.
The wind will die down this evening as skies remain clear overnight. Low temperatures will be seasonably cold in the lower 20s. Northern areas will likely be chillier with lows there into the teens. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday with more clouds north and more sun south... it will be milder.
Highs tomorrow should get back into the 40s with 50s expected Thursday. A breezy south wind will develop and support those warmer temperatures. The forecast should stay dry, although skies become mostly cloudy on Thursday.
Our next chance of wet weather will be over the weekend. There is a CHANCE of showers for the gun-deer hunting opener Saturday morning... better chances arrive later in the day and into Sunday. Otherwise it looks cool, with highs in the lower 40s and a light northeast breeze. As that weekend system winds down, there may be a change from rain to snow. Continue to check back for details.
