GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The undefeated Green Bay Packers are looking to continue their winning streak Monday night as they take on the winless Atlanta Falcons at home before entering a bye week.

The Packers have won the game heading into the bye week in four of the last five years, and since 2007, the team has won the game going into the bye and coming out of the bye five times (2016, 2012, 2011, 2010, and 2007).

The Packers have had 35+ points and no turnovers in each of the first three games, and lead the NFL in points per game this season.

Kickoff is now scheduled for 8:00 p.m. due to the Monday Night Football doubleheader. The matchup had previously been scheduled for 7:15 p.m., and was pushed back Sunday for 7:50 p.m. That time was changed again Monday to 8 p.m.

ESPN and FOX are airing the game.

As Action 2 News has previously reported, the Packers are without receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, as well as linebacker Christian Kirksey Monday night. They were placed on injured reserve Saturday, and will miss at least the next three weeks. They will also be without tight end Marcedes Lewis, defensive lineman Kenny Clark, and line backer Rashan Gary.

Adams sat out the week three win in New Orleans with a hamstring injury from week two against Detroit. He tweeted out Monday morning that he felt he was ready to go and seemed to take issue with the decision to hold him out of the game.

He has since deleted the tweet.

Running back Aaron Jones entered the game as the Packers' leading receiver.

The Falcons have receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley in their lineup, but will be without safeties Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen, as well as tackle John Wetzel and running back Qadree Ollison.

There will be no fans at Lambeau Field due to the pandemic.

The Falcons started the game off with a possession, but had a three and out drive.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers then threw a six yard pass to Jones for a touchdown, giving the Packers an early lead, and Mason Crosby made the extra point, leaving Green Bay ahead 7-0.

The Packers had a chance to score another touchdown, but couldn’t convert on a fourth and goal scenario, leaving the Falcons backed up near their own end zone.

The Packers kept the 7-0 lead through the first quarter, however Darnell Savage walked off the field on his own power toward the end of the quarter.

Savage quickly returned to the game, however the Packers shortly after announced corner back Chandon Sullivan is being evaluated for a concussion.

The Falcons got on the board halfway through the second quarter with a 23-yard field goal, narrowing the Packers lead by a score of 7-3.

Late in the second quarter, the Packers got on the board again, this time with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers to Robert Tonyan. Crosby missed the extra point, bringing the score to 13-3.

With a little more than two minutes left in the half, the Falcons had a three and out situation, giving the Packers nearly two minutes to score.

With less than one minute to go in the half, Rodgers through another touchdown to Tonyan, this time from eight yards out, and Crosby made the extra point. Packers lead shortly before halftime 20-3.

The Packers went into halftime leading the Falcons, 20-3.

Green Bay received the ball at the beginning of the third quarter, but punted.

The Falcons got their first touchdown of the game in the third after a 5 yard rush from Todd Gurley II, however Fry missed an extra point, leaving the score 20-9.

The Packers will be without cornerback Chandon Sullivan due to a concussion for the rest of the game.

Corner Kevin King is also questionable to return due to a quad injury.

The Falcons also lost a player, with receiver Julio Jones ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Rodgers threw yet another touchdown to Tonyan in the third, this time from 21 yards out, with another extra point from Crosby to advance the lead, 27-9.

Shortly into the fourth quarter, Gurley ran in a three yard touchdown, and the extra point brought the score to 27-16.

After a drive and a sack, Crosby made a 48-yard field goal, widening the lead. With just under six to play, the Packers are up 30-16.

As the two minute warning was reached in the fourth quarter, the Packers announced corner back Kevin King is out with a quad injury, and line backer Krys Barnes is questionable with a shoulder injury.

Within the last two minutes of the game, Packers player Josiah Deguara also went down with an injury for the Packers, and was helped off the field by medical staff.
