GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Tuesday we learned the names of the three people killed on Lombardi Avenue in Green Bay. The victims are Jesse Saldana,28,and his girlfriend Sonia Gonzalez-Guillen,27, and her mother Sonia Gonzalez,57. Police said the three died when they were hit by a speeding driver Sunday afternoon.

Sonia Gonzalez-Guillen also known as ‘Panama’ was known as an out-going fun girl who was a fitness fanatic.

“She literally radiated happiness and confidence and kindness, she was one of those people like a walking sunflower that brightens up your day, your room,” said Jessica Villagomez, a friend of Sonia’s.

Loved ones describe Sonia/Panama as a life coach, a motivator, and a great big sister and daughter, but more than anything Sonia adored her boyfriend, Jesse Saldana who was known as a humble and loving person.

Saldana helped to put together Green Bay United FC and was a star on the soccer field, but he was an even better friend.

“He was a tremendous person, not just to his family, but to people that - if he didn’t know you, you would get a good vibe off of him,” said Angel Rodriguez, Saldana’s cousin.

Sonia's mom, Sonia Gonzalez who was also in the car, was known as a kind and beautiful woman.

“When they’re usually with her mom it’s because they’re either going to go out to eat, or go spend some money on her, like get her some shirts or something, just to spend time with her, anything they were with her mom it was to spend time with them,” said Rodriguez.

As the community supports the family through Go Fund Me pages, those who knew Jesse, Sonia, and her mom, said they’re trying to wake up from what feels like a nightmare.
